I haven't used hiveblockexplorer really, so no. I just checked mine and yours, and I seem to be up to date as far its concerned.

Hiveblocks shows everything of yours up to six minutes ago, so your transactions are hitting the blockchain.

Not sure how blockchainexplorer works, whether there's different API nodes to connect with. Sometimes those go down, but I haven't poked around to see if it can be changed. At first glance, I don't see an option like that.
