If bachelor is a codeword for lazy, then his definition works. I keep finding reference to lazy people every time I look up the recipes. It's like okay. I guess I have nothing better to do but spend two hours or more in the kitchen. :)

In my eyes, it's like a smoker, without the smoke. Some people like smoke, some people don't, but you still slow cook the food. And there's a lot to be said for it. I don't think it works out for everything, though.
