Didn’t get to go to my course in the end – after travelling all the way down from Harrogate to London I woke up on Monday with a stomach bug and couldn’t go. I’ll have to reschedule for another time, although that means using up more holiday.
On the plus side it allowed me to get my ICOs in order. I’ve whitelisted for so many that I was completely losing track, so I’m trying to add them to my calendar and make sure everything is in order for when they arrive. It’s proper ICO season, and given the gains associated it would be silly not to contribute to as many good ones as possible. But this requires planning!
Interesting development today when CMC changed the way they calculate the price of each coin – essentially the Korean exchanges skew the average because they pay almost a third more for their coins given the demand, and CMC finally catered for this. Unfortunately they didn’t tell anyone, and the whole market dropped as a result. Then noobs panicked and sold, pushing prices down further. They’ve started to rebound to where they were and by the morning they should be back to normal, but a very good indicator of how the markets can be affected and how we are beholden to the whims of those who don’t know how to HODL!
