Our last day on Bantayan Island.

It felt like our stay was too short. I didn't want to go back to the 'real world' yet and face life's responsibilities. With the last remaining hours on the island, we spent it at Santa Fe beach under the scorching summer heat. The beach in Santa Fe is probably my favorite beach. It's the most beautiful beach I've been to. I haven't been to Boracay so I might change my mind. The beaches in Romblon, I've heard, are also really stunning.

We still had to check out of our resort, so we stepped out of the water and freshened up before heading to a restaurant called Stix Smoke House in MJ Square. We had baked scallops and roasted chicken for lunch. What a meal to end our trip.

And finally, we headed back to the port and boarded the ferry that would take us back to mainland Cebu. I did what I came to do in Bantayan. I made new memories in place of the old ones. Despite this, I still wanted to stay. Every time there is a chance to go back to the island, I would immediately grab it. Bantayan Island will always be one of my favorites.
