This is the San Juanico bridge. It is known to be the longest bridge in the Philippines spanning a body of seawater with the length of 2.162 kilometers (1.34 mi) and width of 10.620 meters supported by 43 spans. San Juanico Bridge is said to be the longest bridge in the Philippines. The bridge is also known as a symbol of love by Waraynons which connects the sister islands of Samar and Leyte. It is a gift of Ferdinand Marcos, former President of the Philippines, to his spouse Imelda who is a native of Leyte Province. Its picturesque view made it as a tourist attaction. I could remember when we went to Manila last month, my kids and I were very amazed of the longest bridge while passing through it.But we were not able to take picture as we are not allowed to stop at the middle. But the experience itself is woth keeping.
