Hello to all Splinterlands players!!!

The summoner I'm going to talk about in this post is one of the novelties from the Chaos Legion edition that impressed me the most (it was the third Airdrop). It may not be a card that changed the game dynamics and strategies, but in its field, in those circumstances where it can truly make a difference, it displays all its power.

I'm talking about Possibilus the Wise, with this very well-done illustration, with a range of colors ranging from dark blue to red, and a very circular structure that reminds me a bit of ancient oriental illustrations.

I would call it a "niche" summoner; its mana cost of 6 is certainly not low, but the abilities (Reach and Trample, in addition to +2 Health) it offers to its monsters are very effective, especially for cards with Melee attack. And its element, Water, is full of very strong Melee monsters, such as Sea Monster, Deep Lurker, Coastal Sentry, etc.

So this is the perfect summoner for challenges with rulesets like Up, Close, and Personal, and with a medium-to-high Mana Cap.

The current market cost is around $13.5, which is not extremely high, but it becomes a significant cost to power it up to higher levels. You need to consider whether this expense is worthwhile for a summoner you will use in few battles and only in certain circumstances.

Let's see Possibilus the Wise in action in this battle of mine:

It's a challenge with Up, Close, and Personal ruleset (so only Melee monsters can be used) and Reverse Speed (monsters with lower speed attack first), with a fairly modest Mana cap of 22.

My team, with Possibilus as the summoner, has Sea Monster in the Tank position, with very high stats and the healing ability, and then I placed Disintegrator in the second position, whose Demoralize ability inflicts -1 on my opponents' attacks. The last two positions are "low-cost" with Torrent Fiend and Hardy Stonefish.

On the other hand, my opponent chose the new summoner Soulbound Eternan Brune, and with it, they placed Antoid Platoon in the first position, followed by Gladius Chimney Wallstop, with its Bloodlust ability, and then Radiated Scorcher and Flame Monkey.

By the fourth round, the game was already over: Sea Monster performed excellently in the Tank position, enduring hits well and using the Trample ability given by Possibilus once. Disintegrator in the second position provided support with the Reach ability.

Sea Monster, Deep Lurker, Coastal Sentry, ecc....

Vediamo Possibilus the Wise in azione in questa mia battaglia:
