This is my first post in the Gems community.
I wanted to show this animated logo that i made fora DIY and maker channel that I hope to open soon.
The subject of the logo is a Pine, it's a play on the italian word "Pino", that can be a tree but also a name.
Tha animnation is very simple, he's just pressing the drill switch and the drill bit is turning.
This is my first sketch, I wanted the subjecty to be a tree that does Do It Yourself projects, so I decided to put a drill in his hands. The look is very cartoonish and the animations and lines are very simple.
This is the image with no shadows: Boy, am I out of shape with vector illustration, it was very hard for me tracing the correct lines and curves that I wanted, and there are still a few mistakes.
Here I added some shadows and tried different colors.
