Visiting a new cafe sometimes is one of my ways to seek inspiration for my photos. Occasionally, I can also meet new people whom I might collaborate with for a photo session or establish new connections that may lead to future photoshoot projects. However, aside from that, I simply enjoy discovering new places to relax while observing people around me.

This time, I visited a new cafe called Scala. It shared its space with a billiard area but was located on a different floor. As a result, the motorcycle parking area was quite crowded due to the integration with the billiard area. The cafe itself was quite cool as it was situated on the upper floor, providing a direct view of people passing by on the main road. Its proximity to the road made it easy to find.

The cafe had two separate areas, indoor and outdoor. The outdoor section was designated for smokers, while the indoor area was for those who wanted to enjoy air conditioning and the ambiance inside the cafe. Outside, one could enjoy a view of the main road. However, during my visit, the outdoor area was already full, so I opted to enjoy the atmosphere inside the cafe.

As a new cafe, it was quite crowded with visitors, which was unexpected as I had intended to find tranquility. Nevertheless, the indoor atmosphere was comfortable despite the crowd. The sound of people engaged in conversations didn't echo too much, allowing me to relax while enjoying the dishes I ordered.

I ordered several items such as coffee, milkshake, and various snacks and meals. Personally, I found their menu items quite delicious, and they were reasonably priced. The main dishes were served in generous portions, leaving me satisfied. They also had a variety of cakes, and I ordered a piece of cheesecake, which was not only tasty but also had a unique unicorn-like color.

As for the coffee, I would say it was not the best, but it was still enjoyable. I had previously ordered a Spanish latte, and this time I tried their coffee mocktail. I think I'll return to buy it again, but I feel the portion is a bit small, so I may need to order another drink.

During my visit, many young people came and went. Some were celebrating birthdays with close friends, while others visited with their families. Scala seemed to provide a comfortable atmosphere for gatherings with friends and family.

I believe the prices for food and drinks were relatively fair. In my city, this cafe targeted the middle to upper-middle class. While not overly expensive, the ambiance and service were on par with other cafes that have higher prices.

The service was friendly. When I inquired about the menu, they explained it well. If a waitress didn't know a specific item, she would immediately ask the kitchen and then explain it to me. They always did so with a friendly smile, and I truly appreciated that.

One aspect that fell short for me was the time it took to serve the food. Perhaps due to a shortage of staff in the kitchen, we had to wait for about an hour to enjoy our main dishes. However, it was compensated by the comfortable cafe ambiance and delicious taste. But for future visits, I plan to come on weekdays or during non-peak hours when people are at work, so I can enjoy the food quickly and savor the atmosphere more comfortably.

Thank you and warm regards from me.
