My journey on the block chain keeps getting better and more interesting. I love to tell the story because I know I have a goal and when achieve it I would be compelling all into a Novel someday.

I have this amazing sister-in-law @nkemakonam89 whose aim and objective is to see her sister-in-laws succeed and stand out beyond expectations. She feels better knowing that she has impacted something of great quality in you.

One of those days we were chatting and she asked me if I knew what Hive was, No! I don't. What exactly is hive? And she began to explain "hive is a Blockchain that consists of different communities whose aim is to groom and raise writers into becoming great authors" guess what made me consider… the fact that you get paid for writing and engaging, isn't that just amazing.

After giving it some thought I told her I was interested and she began the process of opening an account for me which wasn't easy but here I am..on board!

My expectations
I expected it to be just like Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. But it was nothing like that, it was totally different. A site with thousands of interesting communities. It is indeed a Blockchain. I actually thought it would be very easy to navigate.

But I had some challenges:

• The number of words to write on a particular prompt was very challenging for me at first because I exhaust all I know before I get to half of the exact figure.

• Reading can be so difficult especially when people use big words in their content.

• Another challenge is writing and not getting votes, how depressing that can be for a newbie like me. Sometimes I keep wondering what I am doing wrong. Well, scratch that.

@nkemakonam89 did give up on me even when I complained about all my challenges, she used herself as an example telling me the story behind how she made it this far, I would say, she was patient with hive at the beginning of her journey and now she is a legend.

Besides all these, I keep striving just because I want to succeed, I want to be like or even more than my mentor @nkemakonam89 . There are some old members post that are inspiring which I came across they stated that the solutions to thriving on hive is "engaging" and "consistency" which I am trying to implement though it is not as easy as they say it.

So far, I have been enjoying hive lately, especially now that I have joined some community discord which feels like home. I have been able to make a couple of friends on discord which with time am sure I would get to them through their content and by engaging in their comment section. And now dreemport is helping me wake up to reading, getting people to me and getting strong in the comments section. I am happy to be among a team whose aim is to help me achieve my dreem. @zitalove, @cescajove and @deraaa lately has been playing a very important role in my journey, yeah! I met them on discord, they are very patient with me and they always sure I understood the assignment. I am hoping to make friends.
