What do you mean by writing a good content? Was the question that captured my eyes on someone post yesterday. So I decided to shake the tree to see some features of how to make a post with a good content fall.
Writing well without any typographical errors is not enough to justify good content!
To the best of my knowledge here are some features that qualifies a good content:
- ORIGINAL POST: This is the first and must important aspect of writing a good post. A post must be created by the user, writer or artist to be considered original, some people nowadays are fun of copying and pasting article without given the original meaning or even acknowledging the original writer. Copying someone’s work is Plagiarism which is a crime and can be punish when caught. For one to achieve a good content you must be creative in thinking and write well.
- INFORMATIVE: To achieve a good content, your post must pass a message to the targeted audience and it must be useful to the end users. It is just normal for people to anticipate what you have to offer, but the most important thing is the message we pass across. And one question you need to ask yourself is are you adding value to the community? Or just writing for writing sake. This are some of the few questions we need to keep mind while making post.
- ADDING SOURCES: It is always advice able to source any image, or write up we pick from peoples write-up, doing that can best describe your post or write up as good content. Citing sources gives you more impacting reputations which enables you see reasons to what you are doing!
- ADDING SOME VISUAL CONTENT: Adding images or video content to your post makes it clearer, Images describe the write up while the videos present the message clearer to the end users going through the post for easy understanding.
Finally I want to believe there is more room for argument but personally I believe this are some basic features of making a post with a good content. I will like to see you opinions on the comment section.
