Bulgarian Mountain Village Street
One of my favourite family holidays was when we explored Bulgaria with no particular itinerary.
Driving round the mountains led to the discovery of many picturesque villages.
We didn't really have a plan. Just followed our noses, explored and found somewhere different to stay every evening.
Many of the buildings looked dilapidated but they are still lived in.
This is one of the streets we wandered into whilst exploring the mountains.
