The monkeys made me laugh out loud.

I only remember getting spanked by my father once. I'd been playing with matches in a dry field and the neighbour spotted me.

He likely spanked me before that ... but I have no recollection of those. He spanked those memories right out of my head. I never played with matches again and I never did anything that would risk making my dad that mad again.
