El otro día aproveché que un amigo salió temprano de su trabajo, y le pedí el favor de acompañarme a comprar unas cosas que tenía pendiente. Terminamos agotados porque el sol estaba horrible y nos tocó irnos a tomar unas maltas para refrescarnos, para después seguir haciendo nuestras diligencias y finalmente irnos.

The other day, I took advantage of the fact that a friend got off work early, and I asked him to come with me to buy a few things I still needed to get. We ended up exhausted because the sun was brutal, so we had to stop for some malt drinks to cool off, then continue running our errands before finally heading home.
