Good day everyone. Here's another set of my unpublish photo archive that I happen to discover these few days of managing my old photo. This photo was taken in December 2019 just a few weeks before Christmas. I think I have come unexpectedly to this photo session because when I scroll through the folder, I don't have that many decent photo that have good lighting. As I recall back, I mostly trolling around during the shoot 🤣 and only takes a few decent shot because there's a 3 other photographers at the time competing for the strobe light trigger. The theme of this photo session is Christmas and there's a few Makeup Artist involved in this session. If I'm not mistaken, they were preparing and practising for a competition that will happen a few days after this photo session. So, a few photographer were invited to the studio to shoot the models for the Makeup Artist portfolio as well as for us too. Among all the photo that I've taken, this is the only decent photo with good lighting on the subject.

The other photo's are mostly taken by the side and not really have that expression and lighting that I have in mind. So, I just randomly choose the best among all the stacks of photo and just be creative with the presentation. It's almost like imbuing the photo with a new sense of emotion or feels. Lately, I've been obsess with film emulation after I experimenting it while grading a video footage. It's like a whole new world and knowledge that once upon a time, I just don't like the noise in a photo but now that I found it interesting. There's a lot of way to use the noise artefact or the film grain in photo. Sometimes, it just gave the photo a whole new emotion or feels. Nowadays, I beginning to feel a very sharp and digital look of a photo to be ordinary. At least, that's how I feel for now. Here's a few tweak that I have came up with the photo which in their original state not very well lit.

All this photo that I publish today is the photo that I think will not make it to my final selection 3 years ago. Only after awhile that when I look back with new perspective and clear mind I'm able to find out that they are not that bad. It's only me that are very strict and selective at the time to choose. Something we as a photographer or artist have difficulties with. We are being too hard on our selves. So, this is the second series of my Unpublish photo series that I unexpectedly created for this past few days. I'll be publishing a few more series of my unpublish portraiture photo soon as I think I have a lot that still sitting duck in my archive waiting to be rediscover again.
