Do you ever complain about your life? I'm sure you do! We all get bored with our lives and then we look for a new challenge.
Today it is a little bit more difficult than it was in the past. Who would've thought on New Year's day 2020 that this year was going to be such a disaster? This weekend two of my friends told me about their dire situations. My one friend's husband lost his job and she is not allowed to work due to close contact with her clients. They are about to lose their house and there is absolutely NOTHING they can do about the situation. My other friend is moving because they cannot afford their house anymore. Luckily they have an option to move to another house. Both of these families are still clinging to God and believe that there will be some kind of miracle that will take place to help them.
Faith is important in all situations, but in these circumstances, it is even more important.
In the Bible, God stipulates for us in Matthew 7:7
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
This means exactly what it says. You need to ask God for what you need or want!
You can ask God for what you want or need, and then HE will provide it for you. Even though God knows what you want and need, you still need to ask HIM. This will help you to create a stronger bond with God.
In 2019 there were still opportunities for people to find new jobs but today, because of the Corona Virus, many people are jobless and don't know what is going to happen in the future. Life looks bleak for many people. Most country's economies are down the drain and it's going to take a long time for everything to go back to normal. If it ever does.
If you're feeling down and perhaps lost your job during this pandemic you might be in a very awkward situation. This type of situation can be extremely challenging and difficult to overcome and what you are feeling is totally inevitable. Just know that these are NOT normal circumstances. You are not a failure, and what changed in your life, might have changed for a reason.
Most of our lives changed in a matter of months. What we thought was going to be a short lockdown is now turning into a nightmare and it seems like it's never going to end. Some people have not had any income for the last three months, and it's not getting better.
If you remember the laws of nature, then you will know that negativity attracts negativity. Even though you might feel very negative, it is a good idea to FORCE yourself to think more positively and see this lockdown as an opportunity for new things and not as a death sentence. Having God on your side is even better!
Many people started working from home, and there are plenty of online jobs available. Even after the lockdown, I foresee that many people will rather work from home than from an office.
All you need to do is search. Make a point of it to search on a daily basis. Make sure you have a proper CV and send it out to everyone possible online. It might be easier said than done, but if you don't start somewhere, you might be missing some golden opportunities.
Sitting and sulking is also not going to help you at all. The faster you start to look for new opportunities the better.
How does the saying go? If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
