I wasn't chasing 20k today. I just kept finding little reasons to stay outside.
The morning started with a comfortable walk, followed by some light jogging and a few simple exercises. Nothing rushed. It felt good to get moving early and let the day begin at a slower pace.
After that, the usual daily activities kept me on my feet. I took a walk after lunch to break up the afternoon, then went out again after dinner. The evening walk was supposed to be short, but I felt good, so I extended it and added a little jogging along the way.
When I finally checked my tracker, it showed 22k steps. That number honestly surprised me because I wasn't thinking about steps while I was walking.
Maybe that's what I enjoy most about an active day like this. Movement doesn't always need to feel like a workout. Sometimes it's simply choosing to walk when you have the opportunity, getting some fresh air, and letting the distance build naturally.
Do you prefer having a step target in mind, or do you enjoy moving without worrying about the number?
