One day, I declared that I wanted to swim naked in a river. Bali is a beautiful island, but its culture is guarded by the most respectful modesty. So I couldn't just prance around wherever and whenever I pleased in my birthday suit. Not to mention the rivers here are not crystal clear like the ones I was used to and brown, probably from farm runoffs.
With total disregard to the apparent impossibility, I made the wish and set the intention. Everyone knows that in order to make any goal happen (or wish come true), you must first take a few steps with your actions to show the universe you are serious. So that's what I did when I went on the Bali community groups to ask where I could swim naked. I got a few pointers for exclusive but expensive resorts, more dirty rivers, and messages from creepy guys inviting me to their private pool villas--not exactly what I was looking for.
Assuming you've done a lot of inner work to maintain a high vibration, the trickiest part of manifestation is the "letting go" part. How does one let go of something they desire so much? It's easy. Forget about it and know it's going to happen. In fact, it already started happening and it's just a matter of time. You know that term pronoia? It is the opposite state of mind to paranoia--believing that the universe is conspiring to help you.
A day had passed and still no sign of my wish coming true, but I didn't let that discourage me. I went on about my life as usual. (Remember, to forget about it?) I found this hidden cafe that was rumored to have a really good tempeh burger. I was a bit turned off at the price, but I decided to have a seat at the front and have a solo date anyway. In the midst of stuffing my face with shoe string fries, a very nice man (@copa-communion) from the street randomly started chatting me up. As it turned out, we have a few friends in common. He proceeded to invite me to the eco village where he stays because they were planning to have a party.
Fast forward to the party... I finally got to swim naked. Not only that, but it took place in a natural 7-stage filtration infinity pool overlooking these peaceful grassy hills with fish swimming all around me and fireflies flying under the moonlight at one of the most gorgeous communities I've ever seen in Bali.
Manifestation has become easier these days and it's even better than what you can imagine.
