Good evening to the entire community, continuing with the topic of cryptocurrencies, today I am here to talk a little about nodes. I will be making posts day by day on different topics, once I have covered a good amount, I will start uploading content about some cryptos with a lot of potential and that can help you as a fundamental analysis when making an investment.
¿Qué es un nodo?
What is a node?
Es un ordenador conectado a otros ordenadores que sigue reglas y comparte información. Los nodos son esenciales para mantener en funcionamiento una red de criptomonedas.
It is a computer connected to other computers that follows rules and shares information. Nodes are essential to keep a cryptocurrency network running.
Tipos de nodos
Node types
- Full Nodes: This is a computer on the bitcoin peer-to-peer network that hosts and synchronizes a copy of the entire bitcoin blockchain.
- Mining nodes: Commonly known as miners, these solve a complex cryptographic puzzle in a process called mining. Each miner pretends to be the first to produce a new block in the blockchain and to show that he is the one who has carried out the requested work.
- Validating nodes: To participate in the construction, acceptance and validation of the blocks, it is necessary that the users who stake a certain proportion of coins.
- Authority nodes: Nodes called authorities are designated to generate and validate new blocks in the blockchain. for validation most of the authorities are necessary.
- Master nodes: They are another type of full nodes that store the entire blockchain and validate transactions, they stabilize and protect their entire ecosystem and can offer services such as private transactions.
- Light nodes: These depend on full nodes for their operation. They require much less download and storage capacities than full nodes, as they only download the blocks of the blockchain, therefore they do not store the entire blockchain, their function is to verify transactions on the blockchain by verifying simplified payments.
