When I was younger I hated the farm and anything related to it. I didn't just develop an inbuilt hate for farm but because I was scared I might easily get injured or get to see a ghost. Then, flash back to when I started college a boarding school, I suddenly developed much love for agriculture as a subject in the class, it was not only my best subject I really performed well in it.
So one day our Agriculture Teacher took us to the farm told us some beautiful stuff about being a farmer. She said Farmers are caring and life saving people, she further added that FAMERS FEED THE WORLD. That word sank to me, I now saw farming as a commercial thing and which provides adequate services for human consumption.
My Dad after retirement, has 3 big farm lands, a Piggery and a fish pond. We do farm for both subsistent and commercial purposes.

We make use of some local tools to farm : Hoe, shovel, spade, cutlass etc.
The current country recession hasn't affected us much because of we don't lack what to eat, fresh vegetables, cassava, corn, yam, fruits and fishes from our farm and God keeps life going for us.
Even with the local tools available, it's just my little way of feeding the world as farming helps to boost Biodiversity and helps to solve hunger, poverty and malnutrition in the economy.
What steps are you willing to take/contribute to feed the world?
