Hello to all friends of the Black and White community! Today I want to share with you a fragment of a photographic series I am working on, titled #B-Aire.
This series takes place in my hometown, Baire, which is part of the province of Santiago de Cuba. Due to its distance from the city and the abandonment suffered by those who emigrate in search of better opportunities, the infrastructure has become disused. Like many other communities, Baire is plunged into oblivion, and the few inhabitants who still remain there face an increasingly complicated life.
My inspiration comes from the well-known meme "A Baire, if you take away the B it stays in the Air", which I use to highlight the constant uncertainty felt by its residents, who live on the edge of the unknown and without a clear direction.
Thank you very much for your visit and appreciation!
