After training for more than a year and trying lots of different ways to lose weight I came to the conclusion that weight-loss is pretty simple. You have to burn more than you consume. How much more? To be exact - 300-600 Calories a day of deficit is what works best for me. I prefer to burn calories through exercise though. This is another important point - don't starve, eat well, just do exercises to run needed deficit. So, as an example, I don't like eating 1300 Calories and do nothing, I'd rather train well and eat 3000 Calories and will still be in deficit, because I burnt a lot of calories. And the last point - don't aim for rapid weight-loss. Usually it's unsustainable. 1.5-2kg (4-5 pounds) a month is totally enough. Hope these tips were helpful for you :)
