Me botaron.

Lloré, lloré mucho.

Todavía la extraño.

Hasta aquí mis cinco minutos.

English

I cried, I cried a lot

I remember when my first bicycle arrived.

It wasn't a gift.

It wasn't found, much less stolen.

I bought it!

Ever since we were little, Dad hammered it into our heads that we had to save up to get what we wanted. And me? Whenever I had a free day from school, I wouldn't miss the chance to work and earn a few cents, so I managed to save up for the bike and for other things too. My first car I also achieved through hard work and saving.

My first bicycle wasn't a big deal. There were kids on the block who had absolute beasts, but I was proud of mine.

Its extra-high handlebars and long seat made it look like a Harley-Davidson.

I remember that to make it sound like an engine, I'd put plastic cups in the frame so they'd brush against the spokes of the wheel. To me, that was the ultimate thing! My friends even gave it their best compliments.

It was like being a superhero.

I felt like a badass biker straight out of the movies, a total tough guy.

As time went on with my first bicycle, I picked up skills, and feeling more confident, I ramped up the speed and stunts. Thank God I didn't suffer any fractures, but the crashes were horrible. Many people, seeing me crash, would scream:

—He's dead!

But no way, that didn't hurt. It was all part of the experience as a pilot of my bicycle.

My relationship with my vehicle was something strange. I felt like it had life; I would talk to it, and it would answer by obeying every crazy thing I did during the ride.

That's how it went with my first love, too.

I don't know how I dared to tell her I wanted her mouth.

But the craziest part was that she kissed me before I could do it.

She was one of my biggest fans when I was flying by on my bicycle.

Until one day I crashed into a Volkswagen Panel van, shattered my vehicle, and caused damage to the truck.

My bicycle was confiscated by my dad. He said he was going to lose a son because of that damned two-wheeled contraption.

I cried, I cried a lot.

I missed it.

That's how it went with my first love, too. There came a point when I crashed because it crossed my mind to steal a kiss from another girl, and my girlfriend saw me.

I got dumped.

I cried, I cried a lot.

I still miss her.

That's my five minutes for today.
