In a country, I don't know where, in an unknown valley, there was a small village in the mountains, isolated from the outside world. Its inhabitants lived in harmony with nature and everyone knew and helped each other.

One day, a stranger arrived in the village. He was tall and thin, with dark hair and pale skin. The people of the village looked at him with suspicion, as they saw him as different from them.

The stranger proved to be a hard worker. He quickly learned the local language and adapted to life in the village. He helped repair houses, some bridges over the rivers, and much more.

Some villagers were grateful for the stranger's help, but not all were happy with him.

There was a group that discriminated against him, excluded him, called him an outsider, and mocked him in public. The stranger tried to ignore them, but sometimes he could not help but feel hurt and alone.

So the days went by and the stranger felt that he could no longer bear the exclusion and mockery. Just when he thought he should leave, that day, a natural disaster struck the village.

A heavy storm that did not let up for hours caused a landslide at the headwaters of the rivers and the force of the waters rushing down from the mountains threatened to flood the village and wash away houses and fields.

The people of the village panicked, not knowing what to do. And in turn, they were astonished to see the stranger standing serenely. He seemed to be meditating.

Suddenly, this man activated like a machine at full speed, began to build a system of water channels that diverted the floodwater away from the village.

For the villagers, this action amazed them and they became totally grateful to the stranger who had saved their lives.

From that day on, the attitude toward the outsider changed. Those who discriminated against him realized that his human nature had been the worst of them, while the outsider's ability to learn and adapt was the best, very exemplary.

They began to treat him with respect and appreciation, and the village became a more harmonious and happy place.

The message of the story is that discrimination and exclusion only bring pain and division to a community. We must be conscious of our actions and treat everyone with the same dignity and respect, regardless of their origin or appearance. Only then can we achieve our true human nature, which is to learn, adapt and work together to overcome the challenges we face.

As you have seen, what I like most about human nature is the ability to learn and adapt. And what I dislike most is discrimination and exclusion of those who are different from us.

Happy weekend.
