There is a profound truth that we sometimes forget in the hustle and bustle of daily life: a child’s heart is a garden cultivated by the gaze of their parents. It is not enough to be physically present; true emotional well-being at home is born when a child feels fully valued, respected in their individuality, and, above all, deeply loved for who they are, without conditions.

Observing the connection between a father and his daughter, like that moment of complicity I share with you today, I understand that the father figure is one of the main architects of this garden. When a father stops to listen, when he validates an emotion, or when he respects his children's space and timing, he is doing much more than "parenting." He is building an emotional armor that will protect that child throughout their entire life. The respect a child receives at home is the standard they will demand from the outside world; the value their parents place on them is the foundation of their own self-esteem.

Loving a child means accepting them as a complete being, distinct from ourselves. It is understanding that their voice has weight and that their presence is a gift. When children grow up in an environment where their efforts are recognized, where their fears are respected, and their small victories are celebrated, they develop solid mental health. The security of knowing they are loved gives them the freedom to explore, to make mistakes, and to always return home knowing they will not be judged, but held. At the end of the day, children do not need perfect parents; they need present parents who know how to say through their actions: "I see you, I respect you, and I love you."
