The current mood: flowers everywhere!
Even though the flowers haven't bloom yet, it's the time for flowers as nail designs.
I hope next year to afford all of the basics pastel gel polishes (green, yellow, and pink because i have purple and blue only).
This is a fun design because i matched 3 different colours in one design.
Products that i used:
This is the biggest size that i used of dotting tools, and my palette
was actually a piece of thick paper.
First i applied the base coat and i cured it in the LED lamp for 30 seconds.
Then i applied the white gel polish as backround.
I applied two coats of the white gel polish, but on a natural nail i have to apply three coats.
Then i continued with the design. On my palette i put some drops of each colour.
And i started with my first flower in a random place.
These flowers are very easy to create them because they are just dots, but on specific places.
Their size depends from the size of the dotting tool and how much pressure you put for the dot.
So i just "created" a circle of 4-5 dots and in the last dot i just joined them by filling the gap in the center without disturbing the outline
Then i did a smaller flower with a smaller dotting tool.
And then i switched the colour from blue to purple.
The best moment is when you decide where to stop, because at that point i was thinking to do some more, but if i did then it would be too much as design.
For their center i used a smaller dotting tool, because i wanted to create a center and not ruin the flower.
For example if you have 3 sizes of dotting tools, and the No1 is the smallest and the No3 is the biggest and your biggest flower is created with the No3 dotting tool, then the center has to be with the No2 or No1 dotting tool.
Dotting tools are the most easy tools to use for any nail design, but there are many steps for the best dot.
Of how much colour it has on and how much pressure you put on your dotting tool. So before you try it on you, first do some practice on tips.*
