Water tattoo stickers

In this post i will write everything about water tattoo stickers.

There are plenty of them. For example:

• season (autumn, winter, spring, summer)
• holiday (Christmas, Easter, Halloween)
• special occasion (like for a bride)
• there are water tattoo stickers who you can use them in any way.

There are:

• black/white or
• colourful.

I don't have any white sticker, but these need only dark colour as background.

The black and colourful stickers need white or very light colour as background. If you choose to put them on darker background, it might be lose some details.

The theme in this post is the water tattoo stickers, so i will skip the preperation and i will show you direct the steps for the design.

I chose these designs because i have two of them.

In a small plate i put some water.

I cut the designs that i want to use and then i removed the plastic wraper that it has on.

I put the design into the water for 10-20 seconds.

I moved it of the paper just a little to help me to put it where i want.

Tips:

• before we put it in the water we make sure that we took off the plastic, because if we put it with it, the design will stuck on it and then it's useless
• we make sure that the design looks up, because it might me stuck on the bottom of the plate
• when the design touch the tip/nail, that's it. You can't move it you just let it to be one with the nail/tip.

PLACEMENT

It's not nice when a small design is in the center. The alternatives are:

1. cut it to the half and put it at the opposite sides of the tip/nail, or cut two pieces and put them on different tips/nails so when you put tips/nails near, it seems that the design starts in one tip/nail and ends at the next one tip/nail,
2. if the nail is long enough you could put two same designs, or two different but at the same theme,
3. put the sticker in one side,
4. put it in the center only if the design is a stripe and only vertically, because it gives the illusion that the nail is longer.

Everytime it depends from the design how it works better.

I used white gel polish but you could use these colours as well.

TIP: you have to be sure that the colour of the design is darker than the colour of the background so they have contrast.
