MicroCenter has long used cpu's as loss leaders and with AMD finally putting some pressure on Intel again I just came across pretty outstanding pricing on the i7-7700k - just $300:

The downside is these deals are in-store only - but if you are within a day's drive of a MicroCenter this is a great deal :-)
