An average user does not need to concern themselves with all the alien words. All they need is a working product and only developers/entrepreneurs will concern themselves with all the nitty-gritty. It's fine if you do not understand most of what he said because you are not a blockchain entrepreneur hoping to leverage on the immutability of the blockchain to make some dough. An average Instagram/Twitter user knows nothing about the codes that make those platforms what they are.
