First off the card itself - check out this fierce soldier in all his glory:
Wow, unless this data is faulty, it looks like it's basically never used...
Let's see how effective he is. This is one of the first times I'm using him.

My strategy worked surprisngly well. Usually I would have a much beefier tank than Gloridax soldier (e.g., Chain Golem or Living Lava), but given this battle challenge, I decided to given him a shot in the front slot. Overall I think I won this because I was able to reallocate the mana from the tank to having stronger support and DPS than typical.
Going forward, I may test out using Gloridax for low mana situations (20 or less), especially when there are penalties for non-flying monsters.
