Herrrooo Dreamers,
What an amazing start to the week. Retro Fridays were a hit with Mega Man 11 and I took longer than I wanted to admit to get comfortable with the game and all of its mechanics. However, I thoroughly enjoy the new challenge and look to complete it next Retro Friday.
Tonight will be another stressful affair as we climb and crawl our way through dark, dank dungeons scouring for gold, and baubles while maintaining a shred of sanity. You guessed it, we return to the Darkest Dungeon once again for Stressed Saturdays.
Current Challenge : Defeat Darkest Dungeon on Normal (called Darkest) with ALL DLC content including the Farmstead (Color of Madness DLC first dropped on PC on June 19 2018.)
Our task this evening is to complete all of the end game content including the Countess , Darkest Dungeon Castle part 2, Darkest Dungeon Castle part 3 and the chilling Epilogue so we can begin a new challenge. These challenges will prove quite difficult due to the length of the Countess's dungeon in the Crimson Court which happens to be the largest level of the game. Another obstacle we face is the lack of running our best teams through the Darkest Dungeon Castle more than once requiring us to have many skilled characters to traverse these stingy quests.
Once we defeat these epic challenges we will wind down the evening with another maddeningly tough challenge : speedrunning Darkest Dungeon. Specifically a category called Necromancer%. The % stands for the category you are competing in within its rules and boundaries before the run is considered "complete." I will go into further speedrunning talks and discussions as the week goes on and the blog posts continue to grow.
Confused about how to survive in Darkest Dungeon? Ask away in the comments below as I have over 600 hours dedicated to this game, beaten multiple playthroughs, have completed speedruns and look to add more challenges such as a Bloodmoon Challenge Run soon!
Keep on Dreamin' and I will see you all tonight!
