Good morning beehive. I want to tell you a little about my visit to the village of Leshten. This is a village that has preserved the authenticity of ancient Bulgarian houses built of stone, mud and straw. Traditional for our construction in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The streets are made entirely of stone slabs (cobblestones) of trees and flowers.
Interestingly, in 2020 only 4 people are registered, but many of the houses are rented out to tourists and are bustling with life. The village itself has a church "St. Paraskeva" dating from 1833, a museum and a gallery telling about the history of the village of LESHTEN.
A woman told a very interesting story about the village that touched me a lot. He told how in the past all young men and women went 2 km to cultivate the fields with which they ate and left the elderly grandmothers to take care of the children. One of the grandmothers lit the hearth in the yard to heat water and from her indifference there was a big fire in which many houses (a whole neighborhood) burned down, this happened in late spring before winter.Then all the masters from the village and the neighborhood came together and restored all the houses in just one month. I admire the history because the people of the time helped each other and were very united. A unique place with a lot of energy.
Добро утро кошер. Искам да ви разкажа мъничко от посещението ми в с. Лещен. Това е село запазило автитенчността на стариини български къщи, изградени от камък, кал и слама.Традиционни за нашето строителство в края на 19 век и началото на 20 век. Улиците са изцяло от каменни плочи(кълдърми) дървета и цветя.Интересното е, че през 2020 са регистрирани само 4 души население, но доста от къщите се дават под наем за туристи и кипи от живот. Самото село има църква '' Света Параскева"датираща от 1833г.музей и галелия разкаващи за историята на с. ЛЕЩЕН.Една жена разка много интересна история за селото която много ме трогна. Разказа как наврето всички млади мъже и жени отивали на 2 км.да обработват нивите с който се изхранвали и оставали възрастните баби да се грижат за децата. Една от бабите запалила огнището на двора за да стопли вода и от безрасътството си станал голям пожар в който са изгорели мн къщи(цяла махала) това се случило в края на пролетта преди зимата. Тогава всички майстори от селото и околията се събрали и възтановили всички къщи само за месец.Възхитен съм от историята защото хората на времето са си помагали и са били много задружни. Уникално място с много енергия.
