So far the three things that have been working best for me on Steemit are Busy, Actifit amd Steem-engine, I restarted SteemMonsters or Splinterland but frankly without putting in a nice chunk of money it is just a waste of time and while I do have the time the money just isn't there so I will just quit SteemMonsters. There are a lot of other apps available but I just haven't tried them or I tried them and didn't quite find out how they work. For example I want to try Appics but that is a phone app and I don't use my phone for this so I can't use Appics.
But Steem-engine I think is great because you can just post with whatever you do ususally on Steemit and just tag it with some Tribe tags and you will probably receive a few Tribe votes. These do add up, as you can see by the image I put here I have been growing slowly but surely since I started with Steem-engine. Yes, my portfolio is not big, not even close, but I can look at it as win-win, everything there has cost me no extra effort and I could have a lot more if I used more time working the app something which I don't do because I am a great procrastinator.
I dont know what the value in USD of my tokens is, I am not that good in looking these things up, but I have been able to accumulate a lot of SPORT tokens, and I have a couple others where I do own way over one thousand tokens, so I think I am doing well enough here maybe worth only a few dollars, yes, it could be better but I am a slow earner.
But with the way Steems price has been behaving lately it is good to know that you also get something extra when you post on Steemit, these Tribe tokens are interesting and I think and hope that a few of them will make it big time and become quite valuable in the future. really I have more faith in these tokens than on SMTs.
