This is only a logical outcome of downvoting -retaliation, now you are at the stage where you have to upvote what has been downvoted, losing votes for good authors because of this. And this just makes Steemit even less attractive to newbies.

But did you stop to think of this? No, you just went with everyone downvote-downvote. Everything has consequences now we have people downvoting because they can, thanks to you very smart guys.
