OK, but by now and with all the dApps and other innovative ideas around here, and the best blockchain in the world (these are not my words I have seen them all over Steem written by many different people) shouldn't Steem be independent of a lot of this manipulation? At least I would hope so, but it seems that decentralized Steem not influenced by the random events of others, is like nearly everything, a utopia.
