I don't really follow LEO or HIVE as intensely as I should, so I didn't even know about this rebranding until it had already happened. Lucky https://leofinance.io/ still works or I would have had a few minutes before I could have worked out what was happening.
So now LEO will be different, we can get out of the finance world and post about anything. Is this a good idea? For me it is great. i don't know anything about finance so I actually couldn't write anything good about it. On the other hand I am not much of a writer, so I doubt I can write anything good about any subject, but at least this way my options are expanded.
But the platform itself will of course see a bigger influx of users, it has to, more subjects equals more people willing to participate. More interactions more happy people, more activity. Actually social media like this one is a numbers game, and it is like an avalanche if the movement is there it just tends to grow.
