So this is what my Steem-engine portfolio looks like, I have received airdrops for several other tribes but frankly I have staked only in 7, I don't think I can handle any more. Like for example I was given 1,000 CCC but I am not a creative person so I probably won't be able to post there, I would only make anything by curating which would be really slow going so I might as well concentrate on the 7 I already work with. Now SteemLEO and ZZAN I probably can't post much about because I am not much of an investor and on ZZAN I think it is a Korean tribe so I won't be getting much action but as I get a few votes from these two I decided to stake them. Battle I can use more often but mostly it is when I have gotten a good nice beating on one of the gambling platforms on Steem.
I am going quite slowly because I don't get that many votes and unfortunately it seems that the few people that do vote for my posts are not into tribes so my token accumulation is in fact small but interestingly I have gotten a good amount from commenting on others post so that is one way to go. But I am moving, every day I receive some tokens which is what keeps me active, I think tribes are doing very good.
Now I know tags are being abused, like people use SteemLEO for posts that have nothing to do with investing and on CCC I think it is not that people are trying to cheat it is just that it is hard to decide if a post is creative, maybe the author thinks it is but no one else does, so it wouldn't be malice just bad judgement.
But I think the major problem tribes will face is with all the auto votes that will come out, people create alt accounts assign their tokens to these accounts and then assign vote recipients to these bots, now here you have to be careful because you might have on your roll someone who is abusing tags and he or she will be getting upvotes from these alt accounts because the owner will not be checking what they are voting for.
So in the end, like always I think one of the major menaces to tribes are bots and yet we have dozens if not hundreds of people writing scripts that in the end might be harmful to the whole community, but what can you do life is life.
