So after losing the last 200 Steem on Kryptogamers I gave it another try today, but yes, I did it because I only had 6 Steem so I couldn't lose much. Now before anything I have to say I have now gotten over 150,000 GAMER tokens, most of which I have staked and tomorrow I will stake all that I have, you know there is nothing more I can do with them and besides when they are staking you get a dividend in Steem, it comes out to nearly nothing but still anything above 0 is OK with me.
So I started playing to try my luck and it started out OK, I play blackjack here by the way a very easy game, I bet 1 Steem and if I lose I bet 2 Steem and so on, only since I only had 6 Steem the last bet would only be 3 Steem. But I was lucky I won the first draw, and from there I was able to win most of the games until I got to 19, where I figured I would stop once I got 20 I mean 14 Steem profit for the day is OK, tomorrow I could always make some more.
But then bad luck struck, I lost 1 then I lost 2 then I lost 4, so I bet 12 on the last shot, and all I got was low cards I got to 17 with about 7 cards, the dealer was showing an ace so I stopped there, well he had a 7 and I lost it all right there. So you see I actually lose because I don't know when to stop, I have lost about 1,000 Steem on games this year, OK only part of that was mine the other was from winnings but I would have 1,000 Steem if I knew when to stop,
I guess I have to take classes to learn how not to be so compulsive about my betting, when I am losing I try to recover my losses by betting much higher and it always ends up with me losing everything but that is the way it is.
