It has been a great 3 day stay at Lake Arrowhead, very peaceful and fun but it's time to go on to the next stop on our destination, the Grand Canyon. I have been living in the USA for 20+ years and lived in 6 different States and visited even more but for some reason never made it out to the Grand Canyon, finally tomorrow will be the day I get to see the worlds largest hole in the ground! I say that joking of course, I am very much excited to see it and experience it.
It's going to be a semi long drive to the Canyon about 450 miles but I think I can manage it within 6 hours depending on the flow of traffic.
My last and final thoughts on Lake Arrowhead, it's a great place for a 1-2 day stay, there is not much to do here besides sit by the lake and if you don't own a water front property it's literally impossible to get a boat on the water. The food at multiple restaurants is all but mediocre. I wrote a scathing review for one of the places we ate at on both Yelp and Google. I think they need to change it from a restaurant to we serve crap you won't like but you sure will pay.
Next winter hopefully we will make it to one of the places i been dying to go Aspen Colorado! I will def take the G Wagon it will be right at home with all the billionaires.
