Saturday. Although the forecast was not entirely ideal, we still went on bikes to the Brd Mountains. The plan was a little different, less km, because a friend's friend was supposed to come with us, but she wasn't well, so she didn't go. So we made double the 30 km walk. The big hills and the elevation separated everyone, but the reward was beautiful nature, clean air and a minimum of people. Although. We had a meeting at Doubravka in Pilsen, where the bikes were gradually loaded in two places, a fourth bike carrier was borrowed. So we drove a total of four, one person refused due to the weather. So there was a car. We headed to Brdy at its entrance gate, the village of Míšov with the famous bistro grill, which will always please after a long hike or bike ride. Unexpectedly, after taking off the bike in preparation for the route, it was suggested that one acquaintance could be given. They had a local Herold drink. Then he set off. First, according to the plans of a friend's girlfriend, who claims that she would not drive over 30 km in Brdy. But then it was decided that the route would be adjusted so that we could drive more. Well, in the end, it was double. There were two famous Padrť ponds, there are two, Dolejší and Hořejší. They are like breeding, so the activities are strictly forbidden and we have seen real pieces jumping above the surface.
We went along the red mark, along the cycle and along the blue mark, then we decided to completely ride the new nature trail Padrťské rybníky, the trail was rougher in places, but interesting, it informed not only about the local fauna and flora. And not only about ponds, but also about the extinct villages of Kolvín, Padrť, Záběhlá in connection with the construction of a military training ground as early as 1941. When one looks in detail, one finds the remains of these villages, only fragments. It was also interesting that there was a sign by the overgrown bushes, that there was a barn, there was a pub. Well, it was hard to imagine that today there were quite large villages in no one's area. After crossing the nature trail, when we also rode part of the Račí trail. We then continued for lunch to the outskirts of Nepomuk. We drove under the hill in Prague, where there is a meteor radar for the Czechs. We had soup and a neck in a local bistro. We were lucky, it only rained when we were inside the bistro, otherwise it only drizzled occasionally. Well, we and our bikes matched that. :-)
Then we continued to the town of Rožmitál Pod Třemšínem. Which we passed and from the bottom through the central Brdy with proper hills we returned through Gethsemane, the road under Třemšín and the nature reserve Míšovské Buky. The hills here were usually a kilometer long, but we also drove a 2.2 km long long hill. We always waited for the horizon around the bend and he was nowhere to be seen. In Míšov, we loaded the dusty bikes and ourselves into the car and set off for Pilsen. Before I took a shower, threw things in the washing machine and started cleaning my backpack and bags, so I stopped at a friend's and with a wapka we put the bike in a cultural state, with which I can take it to the apartment.

Sobota. Ač předpověd nebyla úplně ideální, tak jsme přesto vyrazili na kola do pohoři Brd. Plán byl trochu jiný, méně km, neboť s náma měla jet přítelkyně kamaráda, které však nebylo dobře, tak nejela. Udělali jsme si tedy z procházkových 30 km dvojnásobek. Velké kopce a převýšení všechny oddělalo, ale odměnou byla krásná příroda, čistý vzduch a minimum lidí. I když. Sraz jsme měli na Doubravce v Plzni, kde se postupně naložili kola na dvou místech, půjčil se čtvrtý nosič na kola. Jeli jsme tedy celkem čtyři, jeden člověk odmítl kvůli počasí. Jelo tedy jedno auto. Mířili jsme do Brd na jeho vstupní bránu a to obec Míšov s proslulým bistro grilem, které vždy potěší po dlouhé túře či cyklojízdě. Nečekaně se navrhlo po sundání kola přípravě na trasu, že se dá jedno seznamovací. Měli jzde místní mok Herold. Pak se vyrazilo. Nejprve podle plánů kamarádovo přítelkyně, která tvrdí, že by přes 30 km neujela v Brdech. Pak ale se rozhodlo, že se trasa upraví, aby jsme ujeli víc. No nakonec to byl dvojnásobek. Jelo se k místním známým Padrťským rybníkům, jsou dva, Dolejší a Hořejší. Jsou jako chovné, tudíž aktivity přísně zapovězeny a viděly jsme skákat nad hladinu pořádné kusy.
Jeli jsme po červené značce, po cyklo a po modré značčce, poté jsme se rozhodli, že si kompletně projedeme novou naučnou stezku Padrťské rybníky, stezka byla místy drsnější, ale zajímavá, informovala nejen o zdejší fauně a floře. A nejen o rybnicích, ale i o zaniklých vsích Kolvín, Padrť, Záběhlá v souvislosti s vybudováním vojenského cvičiště již v roce 1941. Když se člověk detailně dívá, nalezne pozůstatky těchto obcí, jen fragmenty. Zajímavé bylo také, že u zarostlého křoví byla cedulka, že zde stávala stodola, támhle stála hospoda. No těžko si to člověk představoval, že dnes v oblasti nikoho byly i docela velké obce. Po projetí naučné stezky, kdy jsme jeli i část Račí stezky. Jsme pak pokračovali na oběd do okrajové obce Nepomuk. Projížděli jsme pod kopcem Praha, kde je meteoradar pro Čechy. Dali jsme v místním bistru polévku a krkovici. Měli jsme štěstí, pršelo jen, když jsme byli vevnitř v bistru, jinak jen občas mrholilo. No cesty i my a naše kola tomu odpovídaly. :-)
Pak jsme pokračovali do města Rožmitál Pod Třemšínem. Které jsme projeli a spodem přes centrální Brdy s pořádnými kopci jsme se vraceli přes Getsemanku, cestou pod Třemšínem a přírodní rezervací Míšovské Buky. Kopce zde měli běžně kilometr, ale jeli jsme i 2,2 km dlouhý táhlý kopec. Vždy za zatáčkou jsme čekali horizont a on nikde. V Míšově jsme naložili zaprasená kola a sebe do auta a vyrazili do Plzně. Před tím, než jsem dal sprchu, naházel věci do pračky a začal čistit baťoh a taštičky, tak jsem se u kamaráda zastavil a wapkou jsme uvedli kolo do kulturního stavu, s kterým ho můžu vzít do bytu.
