At this point we are a few hours away from the end of the Leofinance Adoption campaign and I must say that, whatever happens, it was a success. For 41 days we were all participants creating, talking, contributing value to the blockchain and to the Leofinance community, which has been the best host to coordinate the daily missions. So, first of all, I would like to congratulate the team behind the campaign and especially Eric for creating a very well thought out competitive event on the Zealy platform.

That's why I was encouraged to represent in my last post to participate in the campaign a pride of lions united for the last time. And for that I wanted to be inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's famous painting, "The Last Supper", which you must have seen sometime in your life. Because of its universality I chose to recreate this scenario. The diners would be the lions I have created throughout this campaign and one new addition, which would be the one to the right of the lion playing Jesus.

I know I'm a little crazy recreating this scene 😂, forgive my amusement 😅.

En este punto estamos a pocas horas de que termine la campaña de Adopción de Leofinance y debo decir que, suceda lo que suceda, fue todo un éxito. Por 41 días estuvimos todos los participantes creando, conversando, aportándole valor a la cadena de bloques y a la comunidad Leofinance, la cual ha sido la mejor anfitriona para coordinar las misiones diarias. Por eso, primero que todo, me gustaría felicitar al equipo detrás de la campaña y en especial a Eric por crear un evento competitivo muy bien pensado en la plataforma Zealy.

Por eso me animé a representar en mi último post para participar en la campaña una manada de leones unidos por última vez. Y para ello quise inspirarme al famoso cuadro de Leonardo Da Vinci, "La última cena", el cual debes haber visto alguna vez en tu vida. Por su universalidad escogí recrear este escenario. Los comensales serían los leones que he creado a lo largo de esta campaña y una nueva adición, que sería la que está a la derecha del león que interpreta a Jesús.

Sé que estoy un poco loco al recrear esta escena 😂, perdonen mi divertimento 😅.

The technique used for the drawing was basically the same that I have been using in previous works: Flat design. That is, from geometric figures to create 2D bodies and then add colors to them. As you can see, the table is a large rectangle, as well as the walls and ceiling of the room where these lions are located. Also, the new drawing incorporates a lioness that was created from the same style. I wanted to add the female figure because of her importance in any pride.

I also modified the costumes of the previous participants, so you can see the lion friend of the dragons with a new outfit as well as the lion of the tattoos, all were modified except Tommy , who is still in his usual kimono (some say he won't take it off even when the campaign is over). You may notice that for the color selection I chose those that would match the background. The coolors.co website was quite helpful with its color palettes.

Having explained the process of creating this new illustration, I would like to take advantage of the last lines to reflect some of the feats achieved during my participation in the campaign. During these 41 days, I created a total of 12 posts not counting this one you are reading. Which resulted in a growth of my HP points of more than double of how I started the month of May thanks to Leo's healings and the support received by #HiveCuba and other hivers who supported me quite a lot.

La técnica empleada para el dibujo fue básicamente la misma que he venido usando en trabajos anteriores: el Flat design. Esto es, a partir de figuras geométricas crear cuerpos 2D y luego añadirle colores. Como pueden apreciar, la mesa es un gran rectángulo, así como las paredes y el techo de la habitación donde se encuentran estos leones. También, el nuevo dibujo incorpora a una leona que fue creada partiendo del mismo estilo. Quise añadir la figura femenina por su importancia en cualquier manada.

Los vestuarios de los participantes anteriores igualmente los modifiqué, así pueden ver al león amigo de los dragonescon un atuendo nuevo al igual que el león de los tatuajes, todos fueron modificados excepto Tommy , que sigue con su habitual kimono (algunos dicen que no se lo quitará ni cuando acabe la campaña). Pueden notar que para la selección de colores escogí aquellos que combinaran con el fondo. La página coolors.co fue bastante útil con sus paletas de colores.

Una vez explicado el proceso de creación de esta nueva ilustración, me gustaría aprovechar las últimas líneas para reflejar algunas de las hazañas alcanzadas durante mi participación en la campaña. Durante estos 41 días, creé un total de 12 posts sin contar este que estás leyendo. Lo que resultó en un crecimiento de mis puntos HP de más del doble de como comencé el mes de mayo gracias a las curaciones de Leo y el apoyo recibido por #HiveCuba y de otros hivers que me apoyaron bastante.

But beyond the growth of my account, I would like to greatly thank the campaign for the challenges it placed on me. For example, in writing about economic issues or related to policies that affect the world of cryptocurrencies or these same illustrations that it encouraged me to do. I had never used Adobe Illustrator and thanks to this campaign I learned basic digital drawing issues and it forced me to look for information and videos explaining how to improve in the program.

In this thread I left my thanks, but I thought that in long format publications are more restful and so I leave record here of how grateful I am. I hope that, after the success of this campaign, there will be many others that encourage us to grow within the ecosystem the way Leothreads did. I met many great people and to all of them I want to dedicate this last illustration that tries to reflect the strength that unites us as a herd in a last supper. See you next time!

Pero más allá del crecimiento de mi cuenta, me gustaría agradecer enormemente a la campaña los retos que me colocó. Por ejemplo, en la escritura de temas económicos o relacionados con las políticas que afectan al mundo de las criptomonedas o estas mismas ilustraciones que me animó a hacer. Jamás había utilizado el Adobe Illustrator y gracias a esta campaña aprendí cuestiones básicas de dibujo digital y me obligó a buscar información y videos que explicaran cómo mejorar en el programa.

En este hilo dejé plasmado mi agradecimiento, pero pensé que en formato largo las publicaciones son más reposadas y por eso dejo constancia acá de lo agradecido que estoy. Espero que, tras el éxito de esta campaña, vengan muchas otras que nos animen a crecer dentro del ecosistema de la manera que Leothreads lo hizo. Conocí a muchas personas geniales y a todas ellas quiero dedicar esta última ilustración que intenta reflejar la fuerza que nos une como manada en una última cena. Hasta la próxima!
