An aquascape is a living work of art. In addition to the high design and lifestyle aspect, it is also a simplified ecosystem in an aquarium. In order for this to work for plants and residents and to offer you a suitable home, a certain amount of technical components is absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, just this purely technical and functional accessories can disturb the aesthetics of an aquascapes. A further development of "normal" aquarium technology in a visually appealing solution, however, is significantly advanced thanks to manufacturers such as Aqua Design Amano.
Of course you can hide a certain amount of technology behind plants and decoration, but this leads to restrictions in the design, both in terms of shape and space.

Light
A powerful lighting, which brings the groundcover in your aquascape to pearls. Tanganijka perches reproduce their prey under cold white light rays. Salmler, who make their tracks in the warm white daylight of a clear-water biotope of the Amazon. The day awakens with a sunrise. A couple of cichlids watching over their brood in the faint moonlight.
These are just a few examples of how you can use light to create different moods in an aquarium. Practically every aquarist is therefore always looking for the optimal lighting for his aquarium. Each aquarium owner has different needs, as far as the design or the mounting of a lighting for an aquarium. The Aquascaper loves the transparency and the noble design of Aufsetzleuchten with subtle acrylic mounts. The classic aquarist prefers a lightbar integrated in the cover of his aquarium. The Nano aquarist and the shrimp holder are happy about practical clamp lights for their small cubes.

Filter Technology
The replacement of unsightly plastic filter inlets and outlets with high-quality glass components (Lily Pipes) and transparent hoses is certainly pioneering. Any filter piping becomes almost invisible. However, glassware and tubing should also be cleaned regularly to achieve this effect permanently. But this can be done quite easily with suitable brushes. Less care intensive, but no less stylish options are stainless steel.

Heater
Meanwhile, the most modern heating rods are already quite inconspicuous, built small and compact. Nevertheless, they represent a visual disruptive factor. Remedy here so-called inline heaters (such as from the house Hydor), which are externally integrated into the cycle of the external filter. Thus, this technical element simply disappears into the base cabinet and remains there hidden from view.

CO2
CO2 installations on the aquarium can also be made of high-quality glass components with transparent hoses, matching with the filter technology. This includes addition devices, check valves, bubble counters and endurance tests. Really visible here only remains the white membrane of a diffuser and the test reagent in the CO2 endurance test. But even this element can be placed outside the aquarium by a Hang On Dropchecker. However, the diffusers with their ceramic membrane should be cleaned regularly to keep the look fresh and the CO2 supply even. For this purpose, special cleaning fluids are available or you can use a solution with household chlorine chlorine (instructions to find here). Of course, solutions made of stainless steel are also available here. In contrast, so-called in-line diffusers, which are similar to the inline heaters mentioned above in the base cabinet, are connected to the external filter. Again, one has a disturbing element less in his aquarium layout. From the CO2 supply you can see in the aquarium only fine bubbles that come out of the filter outlet.

The devil is known to be in the detail and visually appealing solutions are offered even for small accessories. Starting with chic, discreet aquarium thermometers, which are simply hung in the Hang On method over the edge of the pool, over fancy holders for aquascaping tools made of acrylic glass to visually appealing glassware for feeding the fish.
