Zucchini,is known as Turai in India. It is a popular and very common Vegetable, perfectly growing in my garden. Growing zucchini at home allows you to harvest them when they are young and tender. They are relatively low-maintenance, requiring regular lots of water and well-draining soil.

Capsicum is my favourite vegetable as i love Chinese food. Usually yellow and red bell pepper is not available in city, if available then at high rate which we can't afford. So my father try this out, these bell peppers is planted from seeds. Growing it is very simple with low maintenance, just give them the water, fertilize them once a month, usually take 7 - 11 weeks to grow.

SugarCane ๐Ÿชด

IMG_20231009_102953_Bokeh.jpg

You must have seen the Sugarcane a lot in the fields, have you ever seen it in a pot, but my father did this too ๐Ÿ˜œ.

The most important part of sugarcane container care is keeping the soil moist. Since the plants require direct sun most of the day, they dry out quickly as you seen in the pictures,we used to water them every day.

IMG_20231006_101957.jpg

Earlier the sugarcane tree was tall and looks fresh, then one day may be a month ago some monkeys uprooted it to eat it, since then the tree withered.

With our busy and concrete lifestyle, gardening is the only way that keeps us connected to mother nature. Gardening gives us immense joy, happiness as we see every stage of their growth from tender stage to green life. In my garden there are more varities of vegetable than fruits, as vegetables is very much loved by the households as we get fresh, chemical free and healthy vegetables which are then cooked and included in our meals, Hence the vegetables available in the market are hybrid, injected with toxic chemicals. That'why growing vegetables in my own garden is my favourite n enjoyable timepass, but due to my buzy schedule and lack of time, i can't able to spend more time in my garden.
