After discovering a shocking photo on Safi's camera, Max attempts to find out what occurred before the photo was taken. Max tells a shocked Moses about her time-shifting powers after Safi's last photo causes Moses to think Max killed Safi. Later on, we learn Safi can shapeshift into other people, and Safi shapeshifted as Gwen to get fired from Caledon.
