Vaporum is a first person RPG with touches of dungeon crawler and steampunk atmosphere. Inspired by the classics of the genre, Vaporum will take us to an enormous tower located in the middle of the ocean where we will have to fight against its strange inhabitants and, in passing, know who we are and what we do there. The game includes large doses of personalization and progression, elements of constant exploration.

Thinking about Bioshock is perfectly normal, in fact the first minutes are almost a carbon copy of Ken Levine's masterpiece, with storms, pipes, statues and narrow corridors in which a false move will make you the perfect prey of any monstrosity in half of the darkness. Although it seems simple and somewhat hackneyed, the truth is that the lore and the dystopian universe that offers us on a platter is very particular, rich and worked -has even a glossary in the form of an encyclopedia that we will be unlocking-, and the underlying script and that It goes on revealing during the whole adventure, it works. Do not expect big boastings in the booklet, but the audio diaries, the large amounts of text and the atmosphere that surrounds us will have us sufficiently entertained so that we do not abandon the boring game to the first ones of change.
So vaporum is a game that knows how to touch certain sensitive fibers in fans of the dungeon crawler genre. The first minutes are almost like traveling to the past, with mechanics, playable elements and ideas forgotten in the current panorama of the game. As it happened in the PC version in 2017, this adaptation to consoles, manages to awaken the most classic and atavistic feelings of the role, making us feel in the best possible way an experience of paper, pencil and board. In that it has no rival. Its ambience is very interesting, its challenges attractive and its duration more than praiseworthy. Maybe I can sin of repetitive and have a somewhat devilish control scheme in its port to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, but if we are able to jump that barrier and let ourselves be carried away by its proposal, to little that we enjoy the genre, it will deserve the sorrow.
