Hmm, I don't think it's selfish, we all like to be recognised, and I don't know anyone who is happy when something they organise isn't supported. It's a tough time of year as most people have a few commitments, certainly more than most other months. I try to avoid most things at this time of the year though; I don't see December/end of year as a reason to act any differently from a social perspective.

The Grinch huh? Probably not even close, but I agree with you in that some of the Christmas shit they do is just stupid. We don't decorate the house usually, although this year we have a tree and some decorations mainly due to Faith's mum. I look forward to a little time off though and we'll do some stuff, weather permitting, outdoorsy stuff.

Hmm, picture socks huh? I reckon I'd be able to find a few good pictures to put on them...I'm not sure if the poor person processing the order would be happy though. :)
