Deep indeed, one of the reasons I wasn't inclined to get into it at the funeral of one who passed away before she reached the age of ten.
I like your comment for a lot of reasons not least of which is that I feel the same about not having at least one child. It wasn't to be for me unfortunately, despite wanting it to, and I'd call it my biggest point of dissatisfaction in my life - although I lead (and have led) a pretty amazing life.
I also like that ethos of yours, "don't like it? Change it." Also the ownership angle of that comment you made..."within you to change..." Legit and well said.
I think we'd have some good conversations around this topic based on what you write here and I don't disagree with any of it although feel that it needs dissecting, there's so many angles and points to consider. Pizza, a brew and some hearty discussions must ensue. Deal?
