Frustrating, and considering the calibres that are short there's many people suffering.
I make my own ammo and make sure I have plenty, maybe not plenty by American standards but it's rare for me to dip below loads of 9mm and I have enough rifle calibres and SG's to last a while. The law here is as much ammunition as one can shoot in a year, per calibre...Fortunately I am a competition shooter as well as other things so I can justify a fair amount of rounds.
I have a 6.5mm CM and am very happy with the calibre and shoot it to a mile accurately. It's good to shoot something non-conventional sometimes, although at times it can mean components aren't available, projectiles I mean. Still, I always buy in bulk so I've never been short. There's probably batter calibres ballistically, but I'm happy with the 65creed. I have a great .243 also...A laser.
