I have Arlington on my list, and Gettysburg. I'm keen to see the tomb guards march post. Moving places for sure and ones that I wish more people visited. - But they don't.

It's like ANZAC Day here...So many sleep through when they should have the respect to get up early and be at the Dawn service. It annoys me.

This time it was cancelled due to the pandemic and the government wanted people to commemorate at home. I woke up, stood out the front of my house at 0600. I had my very loud blue tooth speaker out there and blasted the last post, had a minutes' silence, then Reveille and then the National Anthem. It was still moving, that music blasting out into the deathly silent morning as the sun came up. Faith stood beside me and I remembered the mates I've lost to battle and the battle with PTSD.

I'm pretty sure my sleeping neighbours appreciated the efforts I went to in commemorating ANZAC Day on their behalf due to them being too lazy to do so themselves.
