It's a good spot for sure and we had a good time there.

I don't like to travel with much structure at all.

I understand however it's so costly for us to travel to the other side of the world, to make it viable we need to have some structure. We spend a week in Cornwall then drove around for 4 more weeks...We had some structure for sure, but certainly plenty of freedom. We didn't have a daily schedule, just set places we had to be at certain days...We'd stop at a place for 3-4 days, explore, then move to the next. We flew to Finland from there.

At the time I lost 0.48c in every dollar through exchange and the trip cost a lot of money...I won't say how much but it rhymes with shmenty shmoo thousand dollars...A lot of cash man. So, some structure is advantageous.

We did plenty of wandering over there too of course.

If you every come to Australia make sure you spend a year or so here...With your strictly back roads and no hurry strategy you'll need it.
