What a great place! It's pretty hard for me to call a structure that size a house, but still.

That great hall reminds me of a church in Bisbee, AZ. Built a few years later being inside reminds me most of being in an overturned boat hull. The space is massive and expensive.

I am fascinated by the English Gardens. You've done a good job portraying them, thank you for it.

I don't like to travel with much structure at all. If I'm going to visit someone I let take care of the structure of the time we are together. Left to my own devices, I wander. I'm a strictly back roads and no hurry sort. Some of my very favorite places have been found after a wrong turn or on a pure whim.
